The Situation
Before the redesign:
- Monthly visitors: ~12,000
- Conversion rate: ~0.8%
- Page load time: 5+ seconds
- High drop-off at mobile checkout
- Crowded product pages with weak calls to action
People were interested, but the store made it hard to buy.
The Objective
- Improve conversion rate without raising ad spend
- Speed up the store, especially on mobile
- Simplify the path from product to checkout
- Increase average order value
The Execution
The redesign kept the brand and rebuilt the path to purchase.
- Restructured product pages around benefits, ingredients, reviews, and one strong call to action
- Added a sticky add-to-cart button on mobile
- Cut checkout from 5 steps to 3
- Compressed images and removed heavy scripts to cut load time
- Added bundles and “frequently bought together” prompts
- Set up analytics to track every step of the funnel
Nothing was changed for looks alone. Every change had to earn a sale.
The Results60–90 Days
- Page load time: 5+ sec → under 2 sec
- Conversion rate: 0.8% → 1.8–2.4%
- Mobile checkout completion: +40–55%
- Average order value: +15–25%
- Cart abandonment: down ~25%
Revenue ImpactProjected
With the same traffic:
- Monthly orders: ~95 → 215–285
- Average order value: ~$45 → $52–$56
- Estimated monthly revenue: $4,300 → $11,000–$16,000
Same visitors. Same ad spend. Far more sales.
Business Impact
- Higher revenue from the traffic already paid for
- Ad budget worked harder
- A faster, smoother mobile experience
- A store the team could manage without help
Key Insight
More traffic was never the problem.
The old store was losing buyers at every step.
Once the path was clear, the same visitors started buying.
